Enough is enough! No more dams! Posted: 02 Jul 2014 04:19 AM PDT Today we interview Mark Bujang, Executive Director of BRIMAS who comments on the government's statement that they will build 'more dams if necessary' Mark tells us that the benefits are only going to the cronies in Sarawak's government, whilst the villagers affected are suffering from loss of livelihood. We also catch up with retired teacher, Alexander, who tells us that Bakun and Murum dams are both examples of broken promises by the Government. MCA and Gerakan are back in the Cabinet and Sri Aman representative Masir Kujat believes this is a sign that BN are getting back support from the Chinese community and urges them to think carefully. Senadin DAP branch Chairperson Lim Su Kien says the Chinese communities will not follow like sheep and will support whoever they feel will serve the people best. Lastly, RFS received a call from Ngadan from Lubok Antu who complains that although the government has promised to provide clean water to their village a number of years ago, they are still waiting to receive it! Enjoy the show! |
