Listen to our voices! |
Posted: 11 Jul 2014 05:51 AM PDT We get a call from Engan, a villager from Long Na'ah in Baram who updates us on the recent visit by SEB to their village. Engan says that their village received a pipeline to supply water, but believes it is temporary rather than a long term solution. The villagers tried to voice their opinions against the Baram dam to SEB and Dennis Ngau but were stopped by security. Mr Alim a Sarawak events committee member tells RFS about the latest campaign to remember Sarawak Independence Day which was officially granted on 22nd July 1963. There will be a peaceful walk on 22nd July. And we received a call from a listener who urges the government and opposition to pay attention to the issue of voter registration to prepare for the next state election. All this and more on today's episode of RFS. Walaupun mendapat bantuan daripada SEB namun penduduk long naah tetap membantah pembinaan empangan baram. Teruskan bersama kami! |
