Banjarbaru socializes roadmap

BANJARBARU, South Kalimantan: The Banjarbaru government socializes plans map of Regional Innovation Systems (SIDA) to support the implementation of the Master Plan for the Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesian Economic Development, Antaranews reported.

Socialization opened by Deputy Mayor Ogi Fajar Nuzuli on Wednesday at the Hall of Bappeda Banjarbaru attended by municipal government officials, Chiefs of neighborhood units and community units (RT/RW) Forum, Community Empowerment Institute (LPM), Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), HIPMI and target small business forum.

"Strengthening SIDA is to increase the capacity of local government and improve the competitiveness of the region and to support the implementation of MP3EI appropriate with Presidential Regulation No. 32 of 2011," said Deputy Mayor.

He said, it is also appropriate with main program the Ministry of Research and Technology on SIDA reinforcement stated in the Strategic National Policy on Science and Technology (Science and Technology Jakstranas 2010-2014).

In addition, he said, according the National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2010-2014 to become a reference for all program development and innovation activities in the local town.

"Development and strengthening of Sida roadmap is the first step in developing plans and strategies that are designed within the framework of systems-year plan to realize an innovative and progressive," he said.

Head of Banjarbaru Regional Development Planning Board (Bappeda), Said Abdullah said, the purpose of drafting and strengthening SIDA as an effort to improve the competitiveness of the region through a variety of local products. For Banjarbaru, it is important to make progress in the area due to limited resources and funds held so that development can take place.
