Posted: 20 Aug 2014 08:17 PM PDT PARINGIN, South Kalimantan: A total of 12 women were arrested in a dragnet operations (known here as Pekat) conducted by the Police Sector Paringin, Balangan Districts, in cooperation with the Public Order Agency, Antaranews reported. Chief of Paringin Sector Police Iptu Akhmad Yani here on Wednesday said this was done in a bid to maintain security and order. Raids, among others, were conducted on stalls at night and a few other locations were illegal activities were suspected. The police chief said the women held were minors and were released to the custody of their families.
