Police, please prevent crime and protect the public Posted: 18 Aug 2014 04:26 AM PDT On today's show we speak to Ba'Kelalan assemblyman and NCR lawyer Baru Bian who expresses his surprise that ministers are claiming that crime rates are on the decline. Bian says there have been many crime cases reported in the media lately such as the high profile cases of 2 UK students who were stabbed and the shooting at Wong Soon Koh's house last week. Bian also mentions the increase in illegal gambling and smuggling of stolen vehicles across the border. He urges the police to be more efficient and calls on the public to help the police prevent crime. And we receive a call from Joshua Ngo a villager from Niah who shares the difficulties he has faced under the the rule of BN for the past 50 years. Ngo is saddened that the governments promises to help the rural people have been empty. And the government of Vietnam has decided to scrap a dozen planned hydropower projects as they are uneconomical. Will the Malaysian government take note? Stay tuned! Teruskan mendengar! |
