We, at Radio Free Sarawak would like to express our sadness and deep sense of loss at the sudden passing of the opposition leader, DAP Chairman, MP and lawyer Karpal Singh.  Last month, the High Court found him guilty of uttering seditious words against the Sultan of Perak at the height of the constitutional crisis in 2009. Today, our veteran commentator, Christina Suntai will share his struggle and hardship stories in the lifetime.

And SADIA secretary-general Nicholas Mujah, visits Tuyut Baram.  His message to the villagers is to stay strong in defence of their native rights and protect their NCR land without fear. He stresses, Sarawak people must confront bullying and remember they can choose the leaders they want at the election.

Also RFS's DJ Peter John Jaban continues his own reporting on the dangerous situation in Tuyut. Today he discloses that the "security guards" hired by the plantation giant are claiming to be police from Bukit Aman!  Needless to say they have been unable to provide any identity.

And finally, we introduce the Rainforest Action Network (RAN) and its campaign to highlight the conflict over palm oil.  They say that awareness over he impacts on our rainforest, animals and human rights comes by simply sharing information.
